Flynn Nagel, WR, Northwestern #2

5106, 195, 4.57

Notes: From Lemont, IL. From an athletic family of six siblings who have all been NCAA scholarship student-athletes. Played in 5 games before suffering a season-ending injury, caught 4 passes for 47 yards, in 2015. Started 11 games at wide receiver and served as the Wildcats’ primary punt returner in 2016; caught 40-447-2 and returned punts 20-132 (6.6 avg.). Started all 13 games and caught 48-489-2 in 2017. Led the team in receiving (68-780-2) in 2018.

Positives: Quick, instinctive, sure-handed receiver who works the short-to-intermediate routes effectively. Reliable and productive.

Negatives: Average size-speed ratio. Is too easily tripped up in the open field at times.

Summary: Worth a training camp look as a slot receiver.
