Notes: From Wilmington, DE. Prepped at the now defunct Eastern Christian Academy in Maryland. High school QB who sustained a broken ankle in 2014. Saw action in 7 games as a true freshman with WVA in 2015, catching 7-131-2. Spent 2016 at El Camino College in Torrence, CA, where he played QB and completed 127-of-237 (53.6%) for 1,636 yards and 15 TD, while rushing 96-258-5. Returned to WVA in 2017 and caught 60-980-18.
Positives: Good all-around athlete with very nice size. Excellent hands and concentration. Plucks the ball. Great balance and body control. Knows how to work the sidelines and the back of the endzone. Goes up and high points the ball nicely and makes a lot of contested catches. Stays on his feet and picks up yards after the catch. Very good run-after-the-catch skills. Has the size to go inside and catches well in traffic. Highly productive red zone threat. Runs crisp routes and has a feel for coverages and how to get open. Field fast, makes big plays and gets downfield. Blocks downfield.
Negatives: Lacks blazing stopwatch speed. Could have some trouble creating separation at times in the NFL.
Summary: Outstanding all-around receiver with very few flaws in his game. Should be able to starter early as a pro.
