Notes: Native of Shelby, NC. Redshirted in 2014. Played in all 13 games at tailback, played mostly during the last four games of the season, rushing 99-731-5 (7.4 avg.), in 2015. Started 7 of 13 games, rushed 237-1,402-10 (5.9 avg.) and caught 5-32, in 2016. Rushed 183-1,037-12 (5.7 avg.) and caught 12-163-1, missing 2 games due to injury, in 2017. Rushed 63-400-6 (6.3 avg.) and caught 6-40 in 2018, before suffering both a dislocation and fracture of his right ankle that ended his season.
Positives: Outstanding balance. Very difficult to knock off his feet. Quick, shifty and instinctive with good burst and cutback ability. Good vision. Explosive through the hole with very good acceleration. Has speed around the corner. Strong for size. Fine hands. Very good pass receiver out of the backfield. Can pick up the blitz.
Negatives: Is not as big as you'd like and lacks true home run speed. Some concerns about durability.
Summary: Smallish, but effective all-purpose back who should do well at the next level if healthy.
