Notes: From Fairburn, GA. Played in 13 games and made 13 total tackles in 2015. Appeared in all 13 games with 19 tackles and 2.5 TFL in 2016. Did not start but played in all 15 games, about 40% of defensive snaps, and had 40 tackles, 13.5 TFL, 5.5 sacks, 1 PBU, 1 FF and 1 blocked kick in 2017.
Positives: Nice size, strength and frame for linebacker. Athletic with long arms. Active and aggressive. Gets into the backfield and makes plays. Sheds and penetrates. Can take on blockers and control with his hands. Well-suited to stack at the point of attack. Disruptive and can rush the passer. Has speed off the edge, can dip his shoulder, tighten the corner and close with force. Can drop into coverage. Good range and pursuit. Able to chase plays down from behind and down-the-line. Has some position versatility.
Negatives: Needs to improve on pass coverage. Somewhat inconsistent with leverage and run fits. Still developing pass-rush technique.
Summary: Best fit might be as a 3-4 outside linebacker, but could also fit as a 4-3 strong-side linebacker or possibly move inside in some schemes.
