Nyqwan Murray, WR, Florida State #8

5105, 192, 4.50

Notes: From Orlando, FL. Nickname is "Noonie." Played in 4 games as a freshman in 2015, with 6 receptions for 65 yards. Played in 13 games, caught 27-441-5 (16.3 avg.) including a long of 92-yards, in 2016. Played in 12 games and caught 40-604-4 (15.1 avg.) in 2017. Sustained a slight meniscus tear and missed the remainder of spring practice in March 2018.

Positives: Excellent athlete. Fluid, natural pass-catcher with good hands. Tracks the ball and adjusts extremely well. Good feel for space. Has a bounce in his step with excellent body control. Works the middle of the field well from the slot. Creates separation. Makes clutch catches in traffic. Field fast and can get behind defenders. Quick, shifty, darting open-field runner after the catch. Blocks downfield. Very self-confident.

Negatives: Lacks outstanding size/height. Does not break many tackles as a runner. Could still use some route refinement and consistency. Shows immaturity at times on the field.

Summary: Might not be an elite outside receiver, but a top-flight slot receiver with natural skills and tools to be very effective working the entire field.
