Notes: From Cedar Hill, TX. Played in 8 games, seeing action as a reserve wide receiver (1 catch for 12 yards and touchdown) and on special teams, in 2015. Saw action in 11 games with 1 start at wide receiver, caught 15-203-2 (13.5 avg.) including a 55-yard long reception, in 2016. Started all 12 games, caught 41-698-7 (17.0 avg.) with a long of 72, in 2017. With Ole Miss facing a bowl ban in 2018, seniors were allowed to transfer without penalty. Lodge took a lot of visits but decided to return to the Rebels.
Positives: Nice size. Crafty and productive receiver who runs good routes, consistently gets open and catches the ball well. Works inside, the sidelines, and occasionally sneaks deep. Great feet. Reliable hands. Good body control and adjustment skills. Competes for the ball. Good field awareness and instincts. Effective runner after the catch.
Negatives: Lacks elite separation and sustained speed.
Summary: The lesser-known among the Ole Miss receivers, but every bit as reliable and consistent. Solid all-around and proven producer. Should play on Sundays.
