Chris Platt, WR, Baylor #14

5110, 173, 4.40

Notes: From Willis, TX. Dressed for nine of 13 games but did not see any game action and redshirted in 2014. Played all 13 games, started once as WR and primary kick returner (averaged 28.4 on 12 KO returns) in 2015; caught 11 passes for 155 yards and 1 TD. Played in all 13 games with nine starts, caught 29-485-4 in 2016. Caught 16-401-5 in four games in 2017 before a left knee injury knocked him out for the rest of the season. Big 12 champion and All-American on the relay team as he also competed in track and field.

Positives: Big-play threat with home run speed. Excellent speed and acceleration. Can pull away from defenders. Catches the ball nicely. Dangerous runner after the catch.

Negatives: Average size with durability concerns.

Summary: Needs some refinement and sustained productivity, but a prospect with very good upside because of his speed.
