Notes: From Allen, TX. Father (Bobby Joe Evans) played basketball at OU in 1996-98. Redshirted in 2015. Three-year starter for the Sooners – at right tackle in 2016-17 and left tackle in 2018. Started all 40 games of his college career. Did 22 reps at the Combine.

Positives: Solid athlete who can mirror and slide in pass protection. Displays fine balance and feet. Adequate-plus size and strength. Can generate movement at the point of attack. Shows some initial pop as a run blocker. Moves well, can pull, trap and get to the second level. Very effective in space. Can hold his own against bull rushers. Has played both sides of the line. Works nicely with his linemates on stunts and games.

Negatives: Catches more than jolts defenders. Can improve raw strength, footwork and anchor. Needs work with hand placement and overall technique. Waist-bender at times. Gets beaten by speed around the corner at tackle.

Summary: Has a chance to develop at right tackle, particularly in a zone-blocking scheme team. Might be better inside at guard for other teams.
