Nate Harvey, OLB, East Carolina #40

6002, 233, 4.73

Notes: Born in Williamston, NC. Feature running back in high school and also lettered in track and field. Attended Georgia Military College as a freshman and sophomore in 2015-16. An invited walk-on transfer at fullback, he played primarily on special teams, credited with 6 tackles in 2017. Moved to linebacker and became a stand-up defensive end, played in all 12 games and recorded 63 tackles, 25.5 tackles-for-loss, 14.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 1 fumble recovery in 2018.

Positives: Outstanding production as a senior, particularly as a pass rusher and disruptor. Strong and extremely well-built for his size. Very good upfield quickness and change of direction. Generates power with speed and plays with physicality and intensity. Uses his arms well and can work inside. Hustles in pursuit and can chase plays down from behind.

Negatives: Lacks great length. Does not appear to have top instincts or natural ball awareness. Can be undisciplined within the framework of the defense at times.

Summary: Not a finished product, but can make an impact if coached up and used correctly.
